Hydro-Seeding

Hydro-seeding is a process where we spray a slurry mix of seed, fertilizer, tackifier, and hydro-mulch to the prepared dirt. The seed we use is the same seed that is used by many local sod nurseries to grow their sod. The fertilizer is a starter fertilizer to help the seed to germinate. The tackifer is added to the slurry to help made the seed ?sticky? so its stays put and does not float away. The hydro-mulch is the paper mulch in the mix that gives the seed protection and holds water to help keep the ground wet.
